11TH DAY OF CHRISTMAS - FOR THE NAUTICAL MEN + WOMEN IN YOUR LIFE
Following on from the #2minutebeachclean gift guide (and for the next few days) I want to highlight a brand that are not only doing good for the earth. Not only are they picking up and recycling rubbish from our beaches, but they're donating a percentage of profits to the 2minutebeachclean and creating beautiful products in the process.
Behind Knit Knot are two extremely lovely and talented people; Emma and Ben. Emma knits, Ben knots! Everything they sell has been created and made by them using both found and sourced materials. And everything they sell looks bloody amazing.
Each object is reminiscent of the sea and the coast and their colours reflects this. I’m so in love with their use of colour! Take a look at their little knotted nets and you can almost hear the sea gulls - and don’t get me started on their keyrings. If anything could cheer me up every single time I lose my keys they could be it. Or maybe they are bright enough that I wouldn’t lose my keys ever single day? Some of the larger ones even float - handy next time I fall in a rock pool (with my lack of coordination that happens more than you’d believe).
